Janith Madushanka de Silva, alias “Podi Lassi,” a fugitive wanted for murder, drug trafficking, and extortion, was brought back from India and is set to be handed over to the Galle District Crimes Division.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) escorted him after his arrest in Mumbai on January 16, 2025. Police confirmed he will face legal proceedings soon.
