According to the ISPR chief, Pakistan’s forces killed over 270 Taliban personnel and terrorists, destroying more than 74 Taliban posts and seizing 18 others. Retaliatory operations targeted 22 militant hideouts, forcing militants to flee and leaving behind bodies of their associates. The Taliban, through spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid, reiterated a preference for a peaceful resolution and dialogue despite the ongoing conflict.
