I’m currently on F1 OPT, and my company had verbally committed to sponsoring my H1B this year. Based on that, I stayed with them and didn’t pursue other opportunities.

They’ve now informed me—quite late—that they won’t be sponsoring anymore. This puts my status and career plans at risk, and I’m concerned about next steps.
